Title: Supervisor Work Field Coordinator -NON union

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, this position will be responsible for overseeing the administrative and field support work across multiple business units. Oversee budgets for facility’s O & M and Capital projects. Coordinate between Work Field Coordinators and contractors to get the jobs done on time and on or under budget. Ability to multi-task and make decisions. Provide an efficient and safe work environment for employees and contractors in strict accordance with practices and procedures.

Job Qualifications

Candidate(s) will be required to meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of a recognized Certificate of Accreditation from an approved College or University, or equivalent job experience in the building trades.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Able to read and understand drawings, schematics, and operating instructions, and manuals relating to station transmission equipment.
  • Knowledge of basic building construction.
  • Safety and Environmental knowledge.
  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively and accurately.
  • Able to travel as needed.
  • Be available during off-duty hours.
  • Familiar and able to use Microsoft.
  • Able to work and retain access to all related substations, ROW’s and facilities.

Safety

Due to the inherently dangerous nature of the industry and requirements to work with or around hazardous equipment, employees must have sufficient eyesight to judge distance/coordination of equipment and tools, be able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods, be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments, be able to wear personal protective equipment as necessary, be able to enter and exit a vehicle numerous times a day, have the endurance necessary to traverse various terrain, be capable of performing job duties throughout a standard 8- or 10-hour day, be able to communicate with others, read, write, and comprehend written/verbal job instructions and information, and communicate and handle conflict professionally.
