CPIhealth is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for individuals with 5+ years of experience in financial and/or accounting who possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills and a passion for healthcare finance. The Sr. Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical needs of the organization.
Responsibilities
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
· Prepare of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
· Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
· Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
· Support the annual budgeting process, including the creation of detailed financial forecasts.
· Monitor and report on budget variances, providing insights and recommendations.
· Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as required to support business initiatives.
· Use SQL, R, or Python for advanced data analysis and financial modeling when necessary.
· Develop dashboard and insight to better communicate results, outcomes and actions to stakeholders
· Performs other duties as assigned to support the mission, values, and strategies of CPIhealth.
Project Support and Leadership
· Utilize Excel and Tableau Desktop to analyze and visualize financial data.
· Prepare presentations using PowerPoint to communicate financial insights to senior management.
· Work as a team in cross-functional project teams to deliver high-impact projects
· Lead finance driven projects to drive innovation and process improvement
Process Improvement and Continuous Improvement:
· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
· Leverage Tableau Prep to streamline data preparation and cleaning processes.
· Leverage technology to automate and streamline FP&A and Finance departments.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
· 5+ years of operational finance and/or accounting experience including financial analysis and modeling
· Strong problem-solving and analytical/statistical skills
· General understanding of accounting practices and principles.
· Strong organizational, communication and analytical skills.
· Excellent judgment and ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
· The ability to contribute in a team environment and to provide excellent customer service while maintaining a positive attitude.
· The ability to work independently, meet internal and external deadlines and produce a consistently high-quality product.
· Proficient with all Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
· Proficient with Tableau preferred.
