**About the Role:**
We are seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to play a key role in optimizing and enhancing our Workday ecosystem, with a strong focus on Compensation. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner, ensuring that our Workday configuration aligns seamlessly with Confluent's compensation programs and broader People operations.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Workday Core HCM & Compensation, hands-on implementation experience, and a strong understanding of compensation systems best practices. You will take a proactive approach to system design, troubleshooting, and process improvements, driving efficiency, automation, and an exceptional user experience.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Oversee the administration, maintenance, and optimization of WD Compensation module, ensuring seamless integration with Payroll and other business systems.
+ Identify opportunities to improve user experience, streamline processes, automate workflows, and reduce risk, ensuring the system supports evolving business needs.
+ Partner with People & Places, IT, and Payroll teams to troubleshoot & resolve system issues and implement enhancements.
+ Develop internal documentation and deliver training for key business users.
+ Oversee technical aspects of job & compensation architecture in Workday, managing job profiles, pay ranges, compensation plans, eligibility rules, and targets
+ Manage the Workday Compensation & Advanced Compensation module for mid-year and year-end compensation review cycles, including roadmap planning, enhancements, data loads, testing, and rollout execution
+ Lead technical enablement for compensation planners and administrators, including planning tool & process training and report & dashboard development
+ Ensure data accuracy and quality through audits, exception reporting, and process improvements. Prepare scheduled and ad-hoc reports, providing reporting guidance to the Compensation and broader People Operations team
+ Support Tier 2+ Workday inquiries related to Compensation or Year-End process
**What You Will Bring:**
+ 5+ years of experience in Workday, with at least 3 years focused on Compensation.
+ Expertise in Workday Advanced Compensation, including system configuration and ongoing management
+ Strong understanding of Workday Performance Management, Core HCM, business processes, configurable security, custom reports & calculated fields
+ Strong understanding of compensation systems management best practices
+ Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills

This position has an annual estimated salary of $100,800 - $118,400 and a competitive equity package. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
