Job Title: Mold Maker
Shift: 7:00 AM Start Time
Compensation: $20/hr
Type: 90-Day Contract to Hire
A leading manufacturing facility in Roseville is seeking a skilled Mold Maker to join their team. This is a full-time, first-shift role with a strong opportunity for long-term employment following a 90-day contract period.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, repair, and maintain precision molds used in manufacturing operations
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to ensure accurate mold construction
Operate manual and CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.) to fabricate and modify components
Perform mold polishing, assembly, and final fitting
Conduct mold testing and troubleshooting as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications:
Previous experience in mold making, including both new builds and repairs
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Proficiency with manual machining; CNC experience a plus
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
