Knott's Scary Farm is the largest and most immersive Halloween event in Southern California, attracting thrill-seekers from all over the world. As the ultimate Halloween destination, we pride ourselves on delivering unforgettable experiences that leave our guests screaming for more. As a Guest Experience Supervisor at Knott's Scary Farm, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience during their visit. You should be able to comfortably and confidently deescalate challenging guest-facing situations while providing exceptional guest service and maintain a high level of professionalism and enthusiasm. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting guests with inquiries, directions, and information, handling challenging situations with empathy and problem-solving skills, and maintain an organized and detail-oriented log of guest interactions and recoveries. The ideal candidate has a passion for Halloween and possesses exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and every night of Knott’s Scary Farm. Previous experience in guest service or hospitality is preferred. Responsibilities:
  • Confidently assist guests with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Assist guests with inquiries, directions, and information about attractions, shows, and event offerings.
  • Provide accurate and timely information regarding ticketing/pricing, event information, entertainment changes and premium ticketed packages.
  • Uphold all event policies and demonstrate a commitment to customer service in all aspects of employment.
  • Providing guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving accurate directions.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Uphold Knott's Scary Farm's standards of excellence in guest service delivery.
  • Performing other duties as they are assigned which may include supervising a maze venue and assisting with HR related situations.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in guest service, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during the Halloween season.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a multi-disciplined, diverse team.
  • Confident Decision-maker with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Applicants who are 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
  • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, and DMV.
  • Ability to provide record of previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
