**Job Summary:**
Responsible for providing various stakeholders (Finance & Accounting Management, Operations Management, Project Managers, etc.) with the analysis and information they need to make operational, financial, and strategic decisions. Participate in organizational strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes with the goal of focusing the organization on key metrics that help generate value for the company.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Provide data gathering and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets/quarterly forecasts.
+ Measure organizational performance; assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget.
+ Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
+ Employ cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods.
+ Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization's spending.
+ Coordinate financial activities across various stakeholders.
+ Manage finances across multiple funding types.
+ Track budgets, costs, and variances.
+ Conduct financial reporting and analysis on financial issues and customer requirements.
+ Develop and propose courses of actions (COAs) and recommendations for financial issues.
+ Interpret and apply financial management principles.
+ Apply financial management processes, techniques, policies, regulations and organizational strategic goals.
+ Participate in the planning, tracking analysis, and reporting projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk.
+ Implement financial policies and procedures in support of projects.
+ Establish and maintain cost/schedule baselines.
+ Interface with Project Managers, Operation Management Personnel, Contracts, as well as other organizations.
+ Increase efficiency through continuous process improvement to normalize, standardize, and reduce redundancy in reporting.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree and three (3) to six (6) years of related experience.
+ Expertise in financial software and applications (e.g., ERP systems, budgeting tools, data analysis platforms).
+ Advanced Excel skills for data modeling and financial analysis.
+ Strong analytical thinking to identify patterns and trends in financial data.
+ Ability to interpret complex financial statements and reports.
+ Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve system issues.
+ Attention to detail and high quality control mindset.
+ Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
+ Knowledge of business processes and workflows within the Finance & Accounting department.
+ Demonstrated written and verbal communication to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
+ Ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
