A multi-faceted professional, Anjana Vivek effortlessly dons many roles -Entrepreneur, Consultant, Professor, Author and Mentor

Anjana is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), with rich experience spanning 25 years. She was a Full time Faculty in the Finance & Control Area of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, before she started her own venture as an entrepreneur at VentureBean Consulting along with two others who are alumni of IIM-A and IIM-B. Other positions held by her include COO at NSRCEL, IIMB and Vice President, Ernst & Young, heading their due diligence practice for South India. Prior to these roles, she was a Consultant at the CTD Project (Centre for Technology Development) funded by USAID and Vice President of NVCF. Anjana's areas of expertise are Business Growth, Business Models, Valuation, Funding Strategies and Women Leadership. She has authored 3 books and continues to teach at IIMs and write, including invited papers for newsletters and Journals and she is a sought out speaker and teacher for workshops and national and international seminars. She also has the privilege of being the founding Editor of the Venture Activity Reports of the Indian Venture Capital Association (IVCA), for the years 1993-98 apart from being a Co-opted Member of the ICAI "Women Members Empowerment Committee" for the year 2014-15.

She is a Mentor at Microsoft Ventures, Venture Advisor at Unitus Seed Fund, Member Executive Committee at JGI Ventures and Charter Member at TiE Bangalore. She has held positions in committees of IIMB, ICAI, TiE and FKCCI among others, including committees on Women Empowerment, Innovation and Finance.
